Founded by Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner Dr. Karmesha Duke, DNP, APRN, AGPC-BC, and Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Sabrina Cole

 Mind-Body Connection is a family medical practice designed to meet the growing need for accessible, integrated, high quality healthcare in the rural Mississippi Delta for people of all ages. Founded by Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner Dr. Karmesha Duke, DNP, APRN, AGPC-BC, and Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Sabrina Coleman, APRN, PMHNP-C, the practice was established in 2025 to address a critical gap in both primary medical care and mental health services in underserved communities. With a focus on the mind and body’s connection, the clinic’s mission embraces a holistic approach in providing comprehensive, patient-centered care that promotes both physical and mental wellness to aid in building a healthier, more productive and socially connected society for everyone.

Sabrina Coleman, APRN, PMHNP-C,

 is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with strong clinical expertise in diagnosing and treating a range of mental health disorders across the lifespan. She is also licensed in Mississippi and certified through the AANP. Sabrina’s approach integrates psychopharmacology and therapy with trauma-informed care principles.
